I am exhibiting next weekend 23-24 October at Off the Rails Arthouse, Ladybank Station, Fife and part of the Open Studios North Fife This is the link to their website I am at venue 56.
Not only will I be selling scraperboard prints, cards, and tea towels but I am ‘Clearing out my drawers’
The process of looking through ‘my drawers’ finding work from all the exhibitions and projects that I have produced on over the last 25(ish) years makes me realise that this is almost like a retrospective exhibition. I have unearthed drawings, screen and digital prints, textiles, 3d Sculptures, aprons, wall hangings; some have never seen the light of day, now is the time make some space and give it a new home.
I will also be selling our dad’s pots, our mum’s and granny’s lace and bric-a-brac. My sister has spent many, many hours lovingly sorting, measuring and laundering the huge number of boxes of lace and haberdashery.
So it is safe to say there is a huge amount to rummage through and many a bargain to be had. I have always loved the adverts that use this graphic ‘ ££££££££’s off’ and now is the perfect time to use it!
I hope some of you can make it along, rest assured we will have our masks on and lots of sanitiser and ventilation to keep us all safe. Will also have the open fires on so we don’t freeze!
